I am the owner of Made by Mary Scott!

MBMS started in 2021 during my freshman year at the University of Alabama, right from my dorm room in Old Tutwiler Hall. It all started with one gameday button, and that little idea quickly turned into something I never could have imagined.

Since then, MBMS has grown right alongside me. What started with gameday buttons has turned into a creative business centered around weddings, events, photography, custom party decor, content creation, design, branding, and all of the little details that make something feel personal. I love that no two projects look exactly the same, and I’ve loved getting to grow MBMS into a place where I can bring so many of the things I love together.

I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2025 with my bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, with a concentration in Meetings & Events. Now, I’m in my second year of my MBA, focusing on digital and social marketing. My education and experiences have given me the chance to combine the planning, people, and creative sides of what I love.

When I’m not working on MBMS, you can usually find me hanging out with my friends, playing games, on a sweet treat run, playing mahjong, or traveling somewhere new. I also serve as an Administrative Ministry Assistant at my church and get to serve on both the worship and kids teams, which is one of my favorite things about Tuscaloosa!

My faith is at the center of everything I do and fuels so much of why I create. I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunities the Lord has given me through MBMS and for the chance to use something I love to serve others and show His love through the work I get to do.
